Since the park has changed over time, I intend to create an installation not only highlighting Lincoln Park’s history and evolution, but also its future. The typographic installation is about 10 ft. tall 20 ft. long 1 ft. wide. The installation is made with concrete and acrylic board which is located in the space beside the diagonal path right across the park. When the public walks across the pathway, they can observe a change in text. From two different perspectives, the language of the installation switches from “Phoenix Square” to “Lincoln Park”.
